Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026 · Last updated: July 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Fayette Tree Co. collects when you visit our website, call us, or request an estimate, how we use that information, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
1. Who We Are
Fayette Tree Co. is a tree service company operating as Fayette Tree LLC, based in Fayetteville, Georgia. We provide tree removal, emergency tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, storm damage cleanup, and land and lot clearing throughout Fayette County and the surrounding areas.
Throughout this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Fayette Tree LLC. “You” refers to anyone visiting our website or contacting us about our services.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill out a form on our site, call us, or text us, we collect what you choose to provide. On our estimate request form, that includes:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your city
- The service you are interested in
- Any project details you write in the message field
If you call us, we may write down the same kind of information so we can prepare a quote and find your property.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some technical information automatically when you visit:
- Your IP address and general location (city or region level, not a street address)
- Your browser type, device type, and operating system
- Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and what site or ad referred you
- Cookie and similar identifiers, as described in section 5
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or financial account details through this website. We do not knowingly collect information from children. We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule an on-site assessment
- Prepare and send you a quote or estimate
- Contact you about a job in progress or scheduled work, including by phone, email, or text
- Provide emergency service when you request it
- Send you follow-up messages, service reminders, or promotional offers, where you have consented to receive them
- Keep records of work performed, which may include documentation you can use for an insurance claim
- Understand how visitors find and use our site so we can improve it
- Measure the performance of our advertising
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
Consent to receive text messages from us is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. You can request and receive a quote from us without ever agreeing to receive texts.
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send you text messages related to your inquiry or service, such as appointment confirmations, crew arrival notices, quote follow-ups, and occasional promotional offers.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our contact form, by texting us first, or by telling us directly that we may text you. That checkbox is never pre-checked, and declining it does not affect our willingness to quote or perform your job.
Message details
- Message frequency varies based on your inquiry and any active job.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
- To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in.
- For help, reply HELP or call us at 770-896-3486.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with anyone for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the service providers that operate our messaging on our behalf, as described in section 6.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies, some of which are set by third parties. A cookie is a small file stored in your browser that lets a site or service recognize your device across visits.
We use three categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies make the site work — page loading, form submission, and remembering your cookie consent choice.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics help us understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and where they came from. This tells us what is working on the site.
- Advertising cookies from Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, and the Meta Pixel for Facebook and Instagram, let us measure whether our ads produce inquiries and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.
When you first visit, you will see a cookie consent notice that lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time through that notice, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site, including the contact form, from working properly.
Third-party opt-outs
You can limit this tracking directly with the companies involved:
- Google Analytics: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Google ad personalization: adjust your Google My Ad Center settings
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads: adjust your ad preferences in your Meta account settings
- Industry-wide opt-outs: the Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, and our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. The cookie consent notice and the opt-outs above are the more reliable way to control tracking.
6. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the situations described below.
Service providers
We use third-party companies to run parts of our business. They receive only what they need to perform their function, and they are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing. These include:
- Our web hosting provider, which hosts this website and its server logs
- Our form software, which processes and delivers your form submission
- Our customer relationship management (CRM) and lead delivery platform, which stores your inquiry, notifies us of new leads, and operates our email and text messaging
- Google, for analytics and advertising measurement
- Meta, for Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement
Other situations
- Subcontractors and arborist partners. If your job requires specialized care, such as tree health treatment or aeration, we may share your name, address, and a description of the work with a certified arborist partner so they can contact you. We will tell you when we are doing this.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
7. Your Choices
- Stop text messages: reply STOP to any text from us.
- Stop marketing emails: click the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us at info@fayettetree.com. We may still contact you about an active job.
- Stop phone calls: just tell us, and we will note it.
- Access, correct, or delete your information: email info@fayettetree.com or call 770-896-3486 and we will honor reasonable requests. We may need to keep certain records for tax, insurance, or legal reasons.
- Control cookies: use our cookie consent notice or your browser settings, as described in section 5.
8. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep inquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business, tax, insurance, and legal obligations. In practice that means quotes and job records are retained for several years, while website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details.
9. How We Protect Your Information
Our website uses SSL encryption, and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their jobs. That said, no website or electronic storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as financial account numbers through our website forms.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are directed to property owners and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at info@fayettetree.com and we will delete it.
11. California Residents
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not sell personal information. We do use advertising cookies that may be considered “sharing” under California law, and you can opt out using our cookie consent notice or the third-party opt-outs in section 5.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@fayettetree.com or call 770-896-3486. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our business or the law changes. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the site. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact Us
Questions about this policy, or about the information we hold about you? Reach out and a person will get back to you.
